Walk and visit

Saturday we were invited to our friends from St. Helens. First we made a lovely walk in the woods and Festus was very happy.

We were exploring new places for some nice photos.

We stopped for a short play with the rope and a ball. As you can see, he had "zoomies" for a little while.

Our friend played tug-of-war with Festus and they both enjoyed it very much.

Can you spot the dog?

Festus was trying to see me thru the big grass. I love this picture of him.

And we arrived at our friends. After he sniffed all the rooms, he laid down on the hallway... the perfect spot for a guarding dog.

Morning walk

Today we made our morning walk in the city center. I hoped it would be more crowded, but it was too early. We passed by an artwork structure and took some pictures. After that we went to Bold Street, passed by St. Luke's church and went home.

St. Luke's church or "the bombed-out church" is a symbol of the destruction of the war. The foundation of the church was laid in 1811 and it was built of free stone with a Gothic architecture. The church was bombed in 1941, during the Second World War and was gutted by fire.

It's hard to make a proper sit on the stairs...

After breakfast.
