Festus turned 3 on Friday and we've celebrated his birthday with cheesecake and a play in the park with his new football.
I couldn't resits not to buy a tie for him, it was near the birthday candle :)
He loved the candle. Probably he forgot that animals should be afraid of fire.
His new toy.
He managed to brake it, but he had a lot of fun with it.

Lap dog
Festus insists he is a lap dog, even if I tell him otherwise...

From 3 months to 3 years
Festus turns 3 this month, so I've made a slideshow with his evolution and adventures so far. I hope you enjoy it! Remember, on 21 we'll celebrate his birthday!

Carrot cupcakes
I love cupcakes! So, I started baking cupcakes for Festus too.
ingredients:
115g wholemeal flour
1 egg
2 medium carrots
2g baking powder
120 ml full fat milk
1 spoon of olive oil
I mix the flour with the baking powder and the grated carrot. I beat up the egg with the milk and the oil. I poured the eggs over the flour and I mix them together.
I put the dough in the muffin tray and I baked them for 15-20 minutes at medium heat. I have a silicone tray that is not sticky, so the muffins look great, without a paper wrap or a lot of oil.
Festus can't speck, but I think it's pretty obvious what he was thinking: "So?! I'm drooling...When can I eat this muffin?!"
Festus loves them. I make muffins for him with fruits (apple, plums, peaches) or vegetables (carrot, parsnip).
