Morning walk

Today we made our morning walk in the city center. I hoped it would be more crowded, but it was too early. We passed by an artwork structure and took some pictures. After that we went to Bold Street, passed by St. Luke's church and went home.

St. Luke's church or "the bombed-out church" is a symbol of the destruction of the war. The foundation of the church was laid in 1811 and it was built of free stone with a Gothic architecture. The church was bombed in 1941, during the Second World War and was gutted by fire.

It's hard to make a proper sit on the stairs...

After breakfast.

Me and Dad

On our morning walk we went in St James' Gardens, next to the The Liverpool Cathedral (the largest in UK and the 5th largest in the world).

St James' Mount is the first public park in Liverpool. From 1767 this was a place to promenade.

I was tired after dad threw some branches and I had to retrieve them.

Some of most important people in the history of Liverpool are buried here.

Winter

This weekend we went on a longer walk and we discovered 2 parks near us. So, now we know 5 parks in a 10-30 min walk. We took some pictures as we enjoyed the "winter weather".

We've discovered 2 lovely "branches" and decided to stop to have some fun.

and a movie...
